Mont Blanc – 1993 & 1995
Mont Blanc
1993 & 1995
After the climb of 1990 that had carried me out of a deep depression and changed me fundamentally, I developed a virtual “relationship” with Mont Blanc. It kept on being my support and became a yardstick for my personal evolution. In 1993 I climbed it for a second time, on this occasion without the company of my close friends. And finally, in 1995, in the style I had always considered the perfect way to climb a mountain: solo, independent, with everything that I needed in my rucksack (from Aiguille du Midi via Mont Blanc du Tacul, 4248 m, and Mont Maudit, 4465 m, to the main summit and descent via Aiguille du Goûter).
